T0 MY MOTHER , WITH LOVE.
The grief of loosing you is like being a small child who has lost her way to home and desperately wants to reach there but the tragedy is that she can never go back again. When you left, I wanted to go with you. I despairingly wanted to die with you. I wished Allah allowed a provision where you can die along with someone you love. But the fact remains that ‘you cannot die with the dead nor can you bring back the dead.’ Having said that , I also know that a part of me has gone with you forever. I can never be the same person again. With you gone, I lost ME.
There were so many moments after you left where I wanted to call you and pour my heart out, moments where I wanted to tell you how you were always right, how you always knew what would happen with me, moments where I also wanted to call and comfort you by saying that " mama you worried a lot, see all is fine at the end". But ‘All’ can never be fine ever, no matter how many things I achieve. A major part of my life will always remain empty.
Mumma, I also want to tell you that gradually your two daughters are becoming like you, like your persona we respond to situations like you would do, we cook like you cooked. We arrange the flowers, the home like you would do. Its true that eventually a daughter becomes like her mother. That is how she carries her mother’s memories with her throughout life. Mothers and daughters never really part. The house is still a reflection of you and will always remain so. This life is temporary and I know that this separation is short. We will soon meet in a world where there will be no parting ever.

DeleteMa is the only feeling which can't be replaced by anything, may Allah give her highest place in Jannah. Sabr is the courageous thing in such situations.
